Cyprus Organic Farmers Association (COFA)
CYPRUS

The Cyprus Organic Farmers Association (Syndesmos Viokalliergiton Kyprou) was founded in 2000. It is a pioneer in its field since it is the first Organic Producers Association created in Cyprus. The aim of the Association is to facilitate its members in the production, processing, standardization, and packaging of the organic products, to confront their common problems, to provide technical and scientific guidance to the organic farmers and promote their products in the market. Its members produce fruits, wine, olive oil, dairy products, eggs, meat and vegetables. Aromatic herbs, carobs and olive oil offer the greatest potential for organic production, as they grow naturally in the island’s climate. The Cyprus Organic Farmers Association works to maintain and increase farmland and to protect existing water resources for sustainable and organic production in Cyprus, respecting the unique conditions of our island. We promote a clear understanding of organics and sustainability.

Mittetulundusühing Ethical Links (MTU Ethical Links)
ESTONIA

Ethical Links is a non-governmental organisation working in areas that at the first glance might seem to be a somewhat strange constellation: social coherence and human rights, global education and development cooperation, fighting against discrimination and social justice, cultural diversity and tolerance, active citizenship and participation, ecological sustainability and green economy, ethical consumption and labour market. But that is exactly why we had to found Ethical Links: because we believe that as opposed to the current trend of narrow specialisation, we sometimes need to have a holistic approach to societal problems and not to ignore the possible interdependence of different areas
